About WedgeDoc

Born and raised on the island of Anglesey, I currently reside in the East Midlands where I work as an IT Developer for a successful POS distribution company. My main role includes the development and maintenance of a number of applications using ASP, ASP.NET, Microsoft Access VBA and T-SQL for Microsoft SQL Server. Our team deals with both front end and back end design work, meaning I get the chance to flex my creative muscles.

I'm a lover of Dark Age and Medieval history as well as having general geeky interests like gaming, sci-fi and fantasy. My main draw is Doctor Who, followed by DC Comics characters, Star Wars, Firefly and Doctor Horrible.

I'm a self taught artist with an interest and passion for comic art, portrait and figure work, graphic and web design. I have been involved with the creation of several logotypes and banners including the creation of a logo for the UK Comics Podcast Group as well as various banners, buttons and logos for the podcasts of the Geek Syndicate Network and their website.
